The body of second flush tea aroma ranges from nutty to fruity.
The second flush teas are balanced and full bodied with a cedar finish. A cup of second flush will be refreshing and uplifting with a bright orange liquor.
FLUSH : The FLUSH Indicates the picking seasons. Each flush is a period where the tea plant grows new leaves and ends when those leaves are harvested.
SECOND FLUSH : The tea harvested and plucked after the first flush , typically in June. It is the product of early summer.
The tea leaves are dark brown and grey.
The second flush represents a classic style of black tea harvested from the second flush clone tea bushes.
A cup of second flush tea appears dark amber.
