White tea is harvested before the tea plant’s leaves are fully open, when the young buds are still covered with white hairs. The buds   are handpicked and meticulously allowed to wither for 72 hours approx. and air dry in the sun, or in a controlled environment at a temperature of 65 degree centigrade.
