THE STORY OF MY TEA POT:MARRIAGE OF INDUSTRIAL PRECISION& HAND ARTISTRY

Belongs to our family a vintage collection more than 55 years old. This beautiful porcelain collection was brought by my father in law who is no more with us , from Japan way back . Silently the pot holds countless cups of stories of our family conversations.NORITAKE HUMORESQE 6685, was produced from 1965- 1979 & now it is a collectors item. The GREEK KEY BANDS with linear accents & gold rimmed makes it more aesthetic& a timeless appeal.
Iam mesmerised by the craftsmanship of the mid century elegance. On the technical side it was marvel, fired at intense heat, decorated with patterns & finished with hand applied gold that still shimmers under the light.
# handle is arched at the base & narrow at the top for balance.
#lid : fitted dome with gold tipped knob, sits snugly to prevent spills

#Spout: Elongated. but gently curved engineered for pouring
#Vent : At the top of the lead so that vaccum is not created.
#Infuser holes. 4+5 + 4 inside the tea pot for proper infusion.

#Collectors item
Decades later VEILROMA TEA ,is holding the bridge between the east & the west at various tea ceremonies, appreciations with the timeless Japanese tea pot.
I would like to connect with tea collectors who are in love with japanese traditional craftmanship.
